The Energy of Architecture: Why I Rejected Traditional Real Estate Advice for "Energetic ROI"
In mainstream real estate investing, the playbook is incredibly predictable. It tells you to treat assets like numbers on a spreadsheet, strip away personality to appeal to the "average" tenant, and cut costs wherever possible. Early in my real estate journey, I was given this exact advice: “Don’t waste your money on custom signage. Don’t overspend on bespoke design elements. Keep it standard, keep it white, and keep it cheap.”
Had I listened to that advice, it would have been absolutely detrimental.
It wouldn’t just have stifled my purpose as a creator; it would have actively harmed the financial landscape I was building for my family. What traditional real estate advisors fail to realize is that spaces aren’t just made of wood, concrete, and drywall. They are made of energy. When you strip a property of intention, you strip it of its power to magnetize wealth.
By rejecting conventional wisdom, I embraced a deeper framework: Energetic ROI. Here is why standard investing advice fails, and how designing with ancient philosophy, intentional signage, and sacred naming structures builds an unshakeable financial ecosystem.

The Flaw of Traditional Real Estate Advice
Standard property management and investing frameworks look at Return on Investment (ROI) through a highly limited lens. They calculate the cost of a material against its immediate durability. To them, a sign is just plastic or metal on a wall to help someone find a door. A room name is just a letter on a floor plan.
This cold, transactional approach completely ignores how human beings interact with physical environments.
When you build a sterile, uninspired space, you attract an uninspired demographic. You experience higher vacancy rates, less respect for the physical property, and a constant cap on your rental value. Cheap advice builds cheap realities. I knew that to build generational wealth, I had to create spaces that commanded a higher frequency.

Ancient Foundations: Per Ankh and Feng Shui
My design philosophy isn’t a trend; it is anchored in thousands of years of sacred human history. When we study how ancient civilizations built spaces of lasting power, two core philosophies emerge:
  • The Ancient Per Ankh (The House of Life): In ancient Kemet, the Per Ankh was a space of learning, medicine, and spiritual alignment. The ancients understood that words (Medu Neter) were sacred forces. Writing a word or placing a symbol on a wall wasn't decorative—it was an act of physical manifestation that breathed protection, life, and prosperity directly into the structure.
  • Feng Shui: This time-tested philosophy teaches us that everything in our environment either feeds our energy or drains it. The physical symbols, layout, and language we display dictate the flow of Chi (abundance, harmony, and peace) within a property.
When you place custom signage or curate specific words within an investment property, you are deliberately programming the energetic grid of that asset. You are setting the terms for who and what enters that space.

Case Studies in Alchemy: Oshun, Oya, and Milan Villas
Every single project highlighted across our storefront is a living testament to this intentional methodology. I do not choose names based on what is trendy or neutral. Instead, I carefully curate names from a place of deep alignment: childhood memories, impactful people, and divine goddesses who exude the exact high-level principles I want to manifest.
  • The Goddess Suites (Oshun, Oya, Elegua, Oshun): These spaces were built to evoke specific emotional and spiritual landscapes. By naming a suite Oshun, we invite the energy of sweetness, fertility, beauty, and flowing gold. By naming a suite Oya, we anchor the energy of dynamic transformation, rebirth, and fierce protection.
Inside Milan Villas: Designing with Personal and Cultural Alignment
Throughout the Milan Villas Apartment Complex project, the nomenclature was deliberately chosen to inject soul back into multi-family housing. Instead of boring unit labels, we poured real-world history, reverence, and intent into the signage of individual spaces:
  • Apartment A – Royal Riviera: Named after Riviera, the street where my best friend Amy grew up. This unit anchors the frequency of pure childhood memory—a space representing where I felt unconditionally loved, where I had fun, and where collaborative partnership was modeled for me. By installing this energy into the apartment, the space itself welcomes occupants with an instinctual aura of safety and joy.
  • Apartment G – Somers Isles: Named in honor of the island of Bermuda, where I grew up. Bermuda may be small in geographical size, but its cultural presence is colossal. Growing up witnessing a small island remain fiercely powerful, highly multifaceted, and successful across nearly all professional global fields built an unshakeable foundation of confidence and expertise in my own abilities. Naming this unit Somers Isles instills that exact high-class, high-achieving, and multifaceted power into the asset's identity.
By utilizing high-vibrational naming structures and physical signage to ground those concepts, we created a tangible lifestyle. Tenants and guests don't just stay in these units—they absorb their energy.

The Financial Reality of High-Vibrational Design
Let's bridge the spiritual with the financial, because true alchemy means transforming energy into concrete stability. What does Energetic ROI actually look like on paper?
  1. Dramatically Boosted Rental Value: People will gladly pay a premium to live or vacation in a space that feels curated, safe, and luxurious. Strategic, divine design instantly elevates perceived market value.
  2. Zero Competition: When your asset has a soul, it cannot be compared to the cookie-cutter apartment down the street. You exit the race-to-the-bottom price wars entirely.
  3. Asset Preservation: When a space feels sacred and carries high-level principles, occupants treat it with a higher degree of respect. This directly reduces your long-term maintenance costs and turnover friction.
By ignoring the advice to "cheapen" my properties, I built a financial landscape for my family that is resilient, highly profitable, and deeply aligned with my purpose as a creator.
